Middletown borough?s finance director, Rick Grove, has resigned.

?The Borough of Middletown thanks Mr. Grove for his service and wishes him well in his future endeavors,? borough spokesman Chris Courogen. Grove did not return a phone message.

This month, the borough council agreed to hire CPA Mark L. Morgan, of the Susquehanna Group, to review borough finances. Morgan will assist with the borough?s budgeting process and analyze its financial activities, officials said.

In January, borough Manager Ronald Mull and Councilwoman Diana McGlone resigned. McGlone was charged after allegedly hacking into another council member's emails and deleting some. Mull went to Bloomsburg, but has been suspended there.
