The world's first business computer just had a blow-out bash to celebrate the 60th year since its inception, courtesy of some timely sponsorship from Google. LEO was your classic room-filling clunkfest, built by British food manufacturer Lyons to help process its payroll and accounts. It was born at a time when the advancements made at Bletchley Park were still top secret, and when -- according to a 1954 issue of the Economist -- there were still people who did not believe in the "desirability of introducing anything as esoteric as electronics into business routine."
