I have an aluminum steep roof that has some dings from hail.
It was installed 25 years ago over cedar shake). I had a leak in a small area of the roof that has not been repaired. A roofing company (Fair Claims Roofing & Home Services) is recommending I replace the roof with a steel roof, possibly an arrowline product. My insurance company will pay most of the cost of a new roof.
Is this a good idea?
How do I know the quality of this, or any other, roofing company?
Which is the better product for our area, aluminum or steel.
One problem with the aluminum is that you can't walk on it without denting it.
