Celebrity Privacy Invasion: Scarlett Johansson and More Celeb Victims (omg!)

An arrest has been made in Florida in relation to the hacking and stealing of nude photos from the cell phones and email accounts of celebrities like Scarlett Johansson and Vanessa Hudgens. According to reports, the arrest came as part of a sting operation by the FBI that took a year to execute and was dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi." Word of the arrest will likely bring ScarJo and others some closure on this issue, but sadly it wasn't the first time, nor will it be the last time that a celebrity's privacy was so blatantly abused.

Celebrity privacy has always been an issue of debate. In the golden era of the studio system in Hollywood, movie companies would contract with reporters to plant stories about their stars' lives. Back then though, there was much more control as to what was public knowledge and what was just speculation. Over time, we've seen more and more instances of celebrity privacy being totally ignored by stalkers, paparazzi and even hackers. Here now are five more instances of celebrity privacy invasion.

Mila Kunis - Earlier this year, the star of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" had her cell phone hacked. What the hackers found and posted were pictures of Five-Tool Entertainer Justin Timberlake shirtless and in bed, as well as a nude photo of an unidentified man and some less risque photos of Kunis herself. It was speculated that maybe Kunis was a victim of the same hacker that got to ScarJo's cell phone data.

Paris Hilton - In 2005, the hotel heiress had her Sidekick, a pre-smartphone data only device, hacked. In it were private pics, and the contact records of tons of celebrities she was friends with. What's worse, her SIdekick was actually hacked twice, and the second time the hackers put everything they found up on the Internet.

Erin Andrews - 2008 was not a great year for the ESPN sideline hottie. She was the victim of a terrible stalking incident that ultimately led to Andrews being videotaped at two different hotels. One of the tapes that showed her nude hit the Internet and led to the arrest of her stalker. She has since sued not only the man who was stalking her, but the two hotels where the incidents occurred.

Steven Spielberg, Martha Stewart, and Oprah - All three of titans of show business had their financial information hacked after a story in Forbes magazine named them among the 400 richest people in the country. One man was apparently able to get the financial records and data of a dozen or more celebrities and business people in an attempt to steal their identities.
