Married... With Children and Modern Family star Ed O'Neill discovered his dreams of becoming a professional footballer were over on the day man first landed on the moon.
The actor reveals he was in a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania bar drowning his sorrows after being "cut" by the city's Steelers as Neil Armstrong made his historic "leap for mankind" in July, 1969.
Appearing on U.S. TV talk show Inside The Actors Studio with his Modern Family castmates, O'Neill recalls, "Looking up, (I was) thinking, 'Well, someone had a good day.'"
