JOHNS CREEK, Ga. ? World No. 1 Luke Donald was rolling at 4 under through 18 holes when his tee shots nestled into a bunker adjacent the 18th?fairway. The Englishman laid up with his second and dropped his third into the pond in front of the green.
The double bogey-6 dropped Donald to 1 under for the event and tied for 15th?place. Following his closing miscue Donald remained upbeat, saying he still liked his chances to win his first major. That, however, didn?t lessen the sting of the final hole.
?I might punish myself in the gym,? he said.
